Gloves and Fingertips
Here at Slider Gear Online we provide our individual finger tips to allow you to create your own well fitting slider gloves, as well as custom slider gloves and custom costume slider gloves.
Our Fingertips are 20-40% shorter than other providers and shaped to assist in finger dexterity while providing just as much protection. Our tips are also available in Three sizes to allow you to custom fit them to your hand. This ability to customize your gloves gives you much more control not only of their construction, but of their use, while giving you almost unrestricted use of your fingers.
An average sized hand, using well fitted gloves, typically uses a Large tip on the Thumb, 3 Medium tips on the next three fingers and a Small on the pinky. For smaller hands (especially girls) we go with a medium on the thumb and smalls on the other fingers. This also works well for sliders who want even more use of their hands for props or climbing, etc. On Large hands (or an average hand with thick gloves) we replace the small pinky with a medium and sometime the forefinger with a large. It all depends on hand size and glove thickness, tempered by the usage desired. With our fingertips you can customize your gloves for the best possible fit.
Steel Fingertips can also be used by non-sliding characters to create loud noises by banging on objects or clacking noises by simply clicking fingers together. Since these characters don’t need the high level of protection that sliders need, I recommend just using Small tips to create the House Actor Gloves. This way the actor gets good hand dexterity at a lower weight. |  |

Custom Made Gloves
If you would like us to custom make gloves for you there are a few options available to you:
Send In Gloves: Go to your local hardware store and find the right gloves for you. Wear them a bit to break them in. Then send them in to us and we will install tips and washers for you.
This service runs $55-$60 depending on the size of your hand and include all tips and washers
CUSTOM GLOVES - SEND IN - INQUIRY
Send In A Hand Tracing: If you don’t want to find your own gloves, you can send in a tracing of your hand and we will find someone here with a similar size hand to base the gloves off of. A physical tracing of both hands sent in is the best choice, but for those who don’t use snail mail we can work off of a scan of your hand as long as you scan a ruler with it for size matching.
This Service runs $95-$105 depending on hand size and includes all tips and washers

 | Custom Costume Gloves
If you would like custom zombie (mummy, skeleton, beast) gloves, we can create those for you as well.
This is an add on to the above custom Services. We will create a one of a kind monster treatment for your gloves that can be color matched if necessary to a pre-existing costume. Please note: Adding the customizing materials to the glove will reduce it flexibility to a certain degree, as the thickness of the glove is increased.
