If you are Sliding at a Halloween Event, Be Scary. Sliding is fun. Its fun to do, its fun to watch, but your job is still to be scary. I’ve seen sliders who slide just to showboat. I’ve seen sliders who only try to interact with guest when they are sliding and just stand around when they are not. These two types are not doing they’re job. They are not fulfilling their responsibilities.
As a Scare Character with a specialized skill set, you will often be held to a higher standard of performance. So be scary and stay in character. Need to catch your breathe, do it as your character and interact with guests. Need to walk up a hill to your slide zone, do it in character. Use your gloves, use your voice, use your scare skills even when you aren’t sliding.
